All consumer sales and returns are subject to the following conditions. When you purchase a product from us you are agreeing to the conditions outlined here.
Please note that we do not supply goods on a trial basis. You must decide before ordering if the goods are suitable for your needs and the product is fit for the application that you are using it for. If you need further detailed information or have general queries about a product, contact us before placing an order. Check compatibility of the product carefully. We do not exhaustively publish product compatibility details on the website, so you may email us to check compatibility against individual configurations.
All sales within the UK comply with the Distance Selling Regulations and the Sales of Goods Act. We will only accept returns for the following reasons: i) products are returned pristine, complete and with original packaging within the immediate seven working days after date of delivery; ii) we have misrepresented the product; iii) the product is faulty. Only software with unbroken seals may be returned within the immediate seven working days after date of delivery unless faulty/misrepresented. All returned packages must include a fully completed Returns Form with a valid Returns Authorization Number (R.A.N.). Please note that any associated shipping/packing charges related to returned products cannot be refunded. If we are required to collect product(s) from the customer, any direct costs will be billed in full to the customer.
We cannot accept any liability for late arrival of products beyond our control. The delivery dates on the website are for guideline purposes only and may be subject to delays or delivery slippage from suppliers/shipping agents. We will try and keep you informed about any delays and we will offer a refund if we cannot dispatch the unshipped product(s) within a reasonable time period of 28 days.
We cannot accept liability for products that are lost/damaged while in care of the postal service. We encourage you to upgrade standard shipping charges to include the appropriate amount of shipping insurance. Please contact us to include insured delivery with your order. We reserve the right to charge for shipping and associated costs that we may incur for packages returned to us where the customer has provided an incorrect/incomplete/misleading delivery address, failed to collect the package from a local mail depot or rejected the package at point of delivery.
Delivery within the UK, but to non-mainland destinations may incur additional sur-charges to those advertised on our website.
A lot of products are for internal fitting within a computer system. Quite often installation of these products require specialist knowledge and skills. We cannot be held liable for products that are fitted incorrectly and any associated damage caused. Unauthorised disassembly, rework or modification of a product will void the product's warranty. Remember to backup data before opening and working on your computer. Ensure that you take adequate anti-static precautions.
All refurbished hardware goods are covered by a limited guarantee; refurbished/pre-owned products are covered for 6 months and new products are covered for 12 months. This covers product failure due to sub-standard manufacturing of the goods. It does not cover accidental damage, incorrect installation of goods, abuse and wear-and-tear. To claim under this guarantee you will have to provide sufficient proof of purchase and contact us within the guarantee period. We reserve the right to repair all defective products returned to us during the guarantee period. All repairs are warranted for 3 months. During the guarantee period, we will replace the goods for products of equal specification if a repair is not available or viable. We will refund the goods if we cannot repair or replace them while the product is under warranty. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss resulting from a product failure.
Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. All orders must be pre-paid before being delivered/collected unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Acceptance of an order is not confirmed until we issue an invoice and allocate stock items to the order. Please note that we reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders before despatch for any reason including: suspected fraud, for items shown on our website with an incorrect price or with any other incorrect information.
